Biography: Abby Kane is from Crestview Hills, Kentucky. She is currently a freshman at DePaul University in Chicago studying animation. She hopes to one day work in the entertainment industry on animated movies and TV shows. In addition, she loves to write, dance, and play the piano and guitar in her free time.

Reaction Statement: I am incredibly honored to have been chosen as a recipient of the 2021 Yellow Light Scholarship. As I am nearing the end of my first year of college, I have already had so many incredible experiences and learned so much here. Scholarships such as this one are what help me be able to attend a place like DePaul, and I am grateful that this scholarship will aid me in continuing my education here.
